The Loss Of Life

An amazing new concept for the day at least – strength arising out of complete defeat and weakness, and the loss of my old life as a condition for finding a new one.

The ability to be who I want to be, not the person I was.

If I choose to work on myself and be clear on the steps I need to take.

Do I want this? Yes.

Can I do this? Yes. If I apply myself as rigorously to the path of health as I did to the path of destruction.

  1. This post is very touching Isabella as is your blog. As I continue to read your blog, I KNOW you have the strength, courage & determination to be the person you truly want to be. I do not suffer with addiction & I cannot even begin to imagine what you have gone through to take the first steps, but I can tell you this, as a survivor of a traumatic brain injury I completely understand the term ‘loss of life & finding a new one’.

So, continue to fight the good fight & I like many others will be there to support you 🙂
